    Crosswind stability control system

    The crosswind stability control system actively controls lane departures caused by strong crosswinds to maintain the existing driving direction and ensure stability.

      Parking Distance Warning (PDW)

      By using Forward / Side / Reverse ultrasonic sensors, you can detect nearby objects and stay alert. The sensors emit beeps that increase in frequency as you approach an object, helping you to accurately judge your distance and avoid collisions.

      This feature is designed to prevent accidents by detecting any vehicles approaching from behind. It promptly displays a warning signal on the cluster and outside mirror, accompanied by an audible alert, alerting you to take necessary action and avoid any potential accident.

      eCall

      Automatically calls emergency services if you’re in an accident and the airbags deploy. Or push the SOS button for emergency assistance at any time, 365 days a year.

      Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)

      Audio and visual cues appear when the speed limit is exceeded. Combined with Manual Speed Limiter, ISLA can adjust the car speed automatically.

      Highway Drive Assist 1.5 (HDA 1.5)

      Highway Drive Assist 1.5 (HDA 1.5) maintains a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead when driving on highways and helps centre the vehicle in the lane, even through a curve. Smart Cruise Control (SCC) maintains a distance to the vehicle ahead and a speed set by the driver.

      1. Forward Collision-avoidance Assist with Junction Turning (FCA-JT) 1

        The FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead or detects pedestrians or cyclists in your path. During cross-intersection turning, it brakes if there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle.4

      2. Lane Follow Assist (LFA) 1

        TUCSON Hybrid features Lane Follow Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 70 mph on motorways and city streets.4

      3. High Beam Assist (HBA) 1

        Detects oncoming vehicles and vehicles in the same lane and automatically switches to low-beam. When no more vehicles are detected, it reactivates the high beams, maximising your range of vision.4

      4. Blind Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA) 1

        Using two radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert to prevent collision.4

      5. Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist Reverse (PCA-R) 1

        When reversing, if pedestrians or objects are detected in the rear, the system alerts you of a potential collision and will apply the brakes if a collision is imminent.4
