FAQ.
There are three main categories of small cars:
The A-segment or city cars – like the Hyundai i10 and all-new INSTER
The B-segment or supermini hatchback – like the Hyundai i20.
The C-segment or small family car – like the Hyundai i30.
It depends, but a rule of thumb is that A-segment city cars (i10) are ideal for narrow city streets, tight turning radius and parking in smaller parking spaces. B-segment cars (i20) are good in the city and for longer journeys because they offer more space for passengers and luggage. C-segment cars (i30) are the biggest of the small cars, offering a balance between size and comfort. They are popular in the city and suburbs and offer more luggage space and passenger shoulder and legroom than their ‘A’ and ‘B’ segment counterparts.
