    With Hyundai Smart Sense, our cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, the i10 offers one of the most comprehensive active safety technology packages in its class – as standard equipment – built to provide you with more safety and peace of mind.
    1. The High Beam Assist (HBA) in the Hyundai i10.

      High Beam Assist (HBA).

      Detects oncoming vehicles and vehicles in the same lane and automatically switches to low-beam. When no more vehicles are detected, it reactivates the high beams, maximising your range of vision.

      Detects if a rear door was opened or shut before the car was started, then reminds the driver to check the seats upon exiting the vehicle.

      1. Lane following Assistant (LFA)

        The i10 features Lane Following Assist. When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 180 km/h on motorways and city streets. 2

      2. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian/Cycle Detection (FCA).

        FCA is an advanced active safety feature that alerts drivers to emergency situations, braking automatically if required. The system is active at speeds of 8 km/h or higher and senses vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. 2

      3. Driver Attention Warning (DAW).

        When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, the system gets your attention with an alert and pop-up message suggesting a break. 2

      4. Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA).

        This clever feature for city driving alerts the driver when the vehicle in front departs from an idle state, like at a stoplight or in a traffic jam. 2

      5. Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA).

        Audio and visual cues appear when the speed limit is exceeded. Combined with Manual Speed Limiter, ISLA can adjust the car speed automatically. 2

        i10’s Energy Regeneration System (ERS) captures kinetic energy created by forward motion and powers your car with it. When you take your foot off the accelerator and coast in gear, the system transforms kinetic energy into electricity and stores it in the battery. When accelerating, ERS uses this electricity to power the car’s electrical systems, easing the load on the motor and increasing fuel efficiency.
